Admissions & Financial Information
Carolina House asks that patients complete a thorough admission pre-test as well an eating disorder inventory. We will refer patients with substance abuse treatment needs to appropriate therapeutic service providers.
We adhere to APA (American Psychological Association) Levels of Care guidelines for Eating Disorders Treatment. We accept patients appropriate for patiential care, and will make referrals based on necessary criteria if the patiential level of care needs change during the course of treatment. We make every effort to locate appropriate, affordable, and geographically reasonable referrals.
Carolina House works with each patient's insurance provider(s) and bill insurance directly for our services when possible. We also accept self-paying patients but do not take Medicare or state/county funding.
