Treatment Modalities

Carolina House proudly serves people of all genders age 17 and older who are struggling with eating disorders and other co-occurring concerns.

Treatment Modalities

At Carolina House, we effectively treat eating disorders, such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorder, by providing evidence-based care that addresses the whole person — physically, mentally, and spiritually. Unlike other mental health conditions, eating disorders have the ability to profoundly impact a person’s physical health to such a degree that their life can be at stake. Because of this fact, Carolina House is proud to offer multiple treatment modalities to individuals battling eating disorders.

When a person comes to our center for care, their treatment needs are thoroughly assessed to determine the most appropriate course or courses of action to help that individual truly recover from their condition. Our staff of highly trained professionals is able to identify not only what type of eating disorder a person is suffering from, but also any existing co-occurring mental illnesses and other emotional strife that may have contributed to the development of the eating disorder. We then put forth every effort to ensure that all treatment needs are met during the client’s time with us.

Our treatment modalities are multidimensional and incorporate a variety of interventions aimed at treating the whole person. We believe that when an individual’s mind, body, and spirit are factored into the processes of healing and recovery, long-term wellness is the result.

In addition to receiving top-notch medical care, medication management services, individual therapy sessions, and the ongoing invaluable support from our dedicated staff, our clients also benefit from several unique treatment methods that can set the stage for brighter, healthier, and happier futures.
