Brittany Cherry, LMFT
Brittany Cherry earned her bachelor’s degree from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC, with a major in Psychology. Brittany continued her education at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA, earning a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Brittany began her clinical career working with families who faced different struggles within the family to help them connect with one another while connecting with the community as a system. The approached used was a strength-based approach to help the family heal and build connections while working through trauma. She has also served children, adolescents, and adults with variety of mental health needs and adjustment, which include anxiety disorder, trauma history, substance use, mood disorders, ADHD, conduct disorder, ODD, personality disorders, etc. Brittany has a passion for working with families, couples and treating adults with all types of mental health concerns and sees no limits to the progression one can have. She has treated clients at the residential, partial hospitalization, intensive in-home, outpatient, and incarcerated level. She uses different modalities of treatment to help heal all clients she works with. When Brittany is not working, she enjoys listening to music, baking, and spending time with family.
