I was born in Buffalo, NY but have lived in Raleigh since 2003. In 2014 I graduated with honors from Appalachian State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a concentration in Human Services. Throughout my time in undergrad I gained experience serving as a Research Assistant, interning at the ASU Psychology Clinic, and working at a local non-profit providing therapeutic services for children suffering from trauma and abuse. In July 2015 I began my career at Carolina House working as a Residential Patient Assistant and recently transitioned into the role of an Intake Coordinator in March 2017. Throughout my time at Carolina House so far, my passion for helping and advocating for individuals struggling with eating disorders has increased substantially. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling, and being outdoors.
