Dylan Newton earned his degree in social work from University of North Carolina at Wilmington and continued his education at NC State University to earn his Master’s in social work. Dylan began his career working with adults who struggled with co-occurring mental health and psychiatric disorders. He has also worked with a variety of ages children, adolescents and adults with a variety of concerns such as mood and personality disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and eating disorders. Dylan has a passion for working with individuals and their families with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Dylan focuses on using motivational interviewing, DBT, and cognitive behavioral therapy modalities throughout his therapeutic sessions. When Dylan is not at work he enjoys hanging out at the beach, going to the movies, listening to music, and spending time with his two dogs.
