Emily Dolegowski

Group Counselor

Emily Dolegowski graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Slavic & East European Languages & Cultures. She is currently earning her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina State University.

Emily has four years of combined experience working in the field of eating disorders. As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant under Dr. Anna Bardone-Cone, where she primarily assisted with the Road to Recovery from Eating Disorders (RRED) Study. Upon graduating from UNC, she worked as a therapeutic assistant to children in the inpatient and residential levels of eating disorder care. She then briefly managed the behavioral health associates at Carolina House before moving into the counselor role. Now, she primarily leads therapeutic horticulture and assists with other groups as needed. Emily intends to serve people suffering from eating disorders for the rest of her career. She has a passion for integrating nature and creativity into the recovery process.
