What: Destress with Carolina House for the Holidays

Join us for an engaging and interactive discussion led by Rachel Porter, Psy.D., Carolina House Eating Disorder Treatment Center’s clinical director, on the history of body liberation movements throughout various communities. We will explore ways to build resiliency and behave with love toward your body. The presentation, which is part of the Voices of Experience: Clinical Concepts from Industry Leaders series, will also explore body positivity and how it does or does not fit with eating disorder recovery.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss body liberation movements within different communities.
- Explain what is meant by body positivity and how and when it fits with eating disorder recovery.
- List at least two strategies to empower clients to build greater resilience and love for their bodies.
