At Carolina House, we are grateful for the chance to be included in various events and news articles about eating disorder education, awareness, and treatment. We encourage you to check out the news coverage we have received and our upcoming events.
Even though we would like it if the holiday season were all about joy and togetherness, it often brings added layers of pressure. Carolina House is hosting an event to help you destress before the holidays.

We will explore ways to build resiliency and behave with love toward your body. The presentation, which is part of the Voices of Experience: Clinical Concepts from Industry Leaders series, will also explore body positivity and how it does or does not fit with eating disorder recovery.
- Discuss body liberation movements within different communities.
- Explain what is meant by body positivity and how and when it fits with eating disorder recovery.
- List at least two strategies to empower clients to build greater resilience and love for their bodies.
We look forward to seeing you!
